Brief History of Practice

The practice was set up by Tom Green in November 1953.

The first office was situated in Lake Road, Takapuna then soon after in the National Bank Building.

In 1964 Tom Green and the Armstrong brothers, who formed the legal practice now known as Armstrong Murray, built and moved into 11 Anzac Street, Takapuna.

After 43 years in this building we had outgrown the now tired Anzac Street building and relocated to 14 - 22 Triton Drive, Albany.

Tom Green, over the years, had a number of partners including Ray Battenberg, John Buchanan, Evan Cummins, John Murray and Con Bullôt.

Tom retired from the practice in 1985 leaving Con Bullôt as a sole practitioner.  Con had a background in sales and marketing and invited Bruce Rankine to join him in 1990.  Soon after Con suffered a work injury and formally retired in 1993, leaving the practice in the configuration it is today.

Our work team today is headed by Bruce Rankine, ably supported by Diane Hutchinson and a tight knit professional team of a further 6 people.
